Action Plan

As part of the Parish Plan Process it is essential to prepare an Action Plan to take forward the major items identified by the results of the questionnaire analysis. The Action Plan set out here seeks to do that. The paper version is prepared in a format based on that recommended by Cambridgeshire ACRE's model and their layout is acknowledged here. Slight modifications to that format have been made in order to display the same information online, but the content is identical.

As with life outside our parish, no one action stands in isolation. Many of the actions listed below will need to be taken forward with consideration for their impact and relationship with other parts of the Action Plan.

The Steering Group Committee have prepared this Action Plan which has, in turn, been formally adopted by the Parson Drove Parish Council and has its full support and backing. It will now be for the Action Plan committee to use their best endeavours to bring the actions outlined here to fruition.

Some of the actions have already commenced or been completed and this has been achieved, in part, by the support of the preparation of the Parish Plan. The findings of our Parish Plan will also be used in our efforts to meet other parts of the Action Plan.

The progress of the Action Plan will be subject to regular review by the Action Plan Committee and reports will be made regularly to the Parish Council and Parishioners. Regular updates will also be posted on the News page of the online version of the Parish Plan at the Parson Drove Parish Council website. Copies of the Action Plan, along with the full Parish Plan report are available on CD-ROM, online or on paper. and can be downloaded here.
