Meetings held to form new youth club in the next few months. - May 2005

A number of meetings have taken place between detached youth workers and parents and children in the village to try to get a new youth club off the ground. This led to a meeting on 25th May when it was agreed to start a new youth club in the next few months. There will be an age restriction on members to between 11 and 16 years old. Details will appear here and at points in the village in the next few weeks. We have secured the services of a dedicated youth worker for 26 weeks to get the youth club established and to train adult supervisors, but the main aim is to encourage the youngsters to run their own youth club.
